There are a lot of scrapbooking friends that I have not met yet in person, but I'm thinking for this contest that it should be someone that you have met. I haven't met many people so I would have to say you. I'm not trying to win any points or anything, but you are the only one that I've spent a lot of time with over the years. A couple or so times at your house, my house, restaurants & Orlando. You are a very special woman that I am very happy to know. So glad you joined the newsgroups and I got to meet you. *big hugs*

Sarah and I would love the cricut cartridge. I think all my friends in R-C-S newsgroup are invaluable to me. Whether we are scrapbooking or holding eachother up during hard times, I adore everyone.

Bonjour M-C.

I've made several "crafting/e-buddies" online. But one of my best friends is a girl that I never thought I would develop a close friendship with because we seemed so "different". But when we found out the other one loved to craft it was like an instant bond! This past summer, we spent every day together and would make cards or sew and it was some of my prized memories. It was such a comfortable friendship, we'd laugh and we just knew what the other was thinking and didn't even have to talk all the time. Now I'm away (because of my husband's job) and I really miss her.

Making new friends with fellow scrapbookers is really easy. Deep down all of us who do scrap share so many of the same feelings and reasons why we scrap. Those who do not scrap do not understand why we love and thrive off our creative time. We become validated and apreciated by our friendships with eachother. I love some of my new friends from facebook who scrap. I have several friends in real life that we teach, share new ideas, and encourage creatively! I think I need to make them cards tomorrow! Thanks!

Like Kate, I would have to say the friendships I have made on RCS over the years are most special to me. Dave was the first one I met in person after joining. My DH and family gave me a hard time about meeting a truck driver who "says" he scrapbooks that I had been talking to on the net, but after meeting him they think he's a great person too. After the meet-up in Indiana and the trip to Arkansas last fall I feel I can safely say I really do have friends that circle the globe.

It's coming around to Christmas again and for the last several years I've made church members cards. No surprise, I get bogged down - but it's been fun that my husband will come to the rescue and help me get them made. Who could ask for a better partner & memory! Thanks for the chance to win.

I very much agree with Jamie. My mother in law lives many miles from us but is a keen cardmaker and scrapbooker so now when we talk we always have something to talk about whether it's new sites to visit online, new products, cards we need to be making for upcoming birthdays, etc. I love it and it has definitely brought us closer.

Thanks for the giveaway xxx

I have made so many wonderful friends through scrapping. But my bestest friendship came from Cindy-Cynthia Loo Who YT. I contacted Cindy about doing a die cut swap. We have been BEST friends ever since. We recently went into business together at Alilscrapofheaven.ning.com. I hope we will become only closer in the years to come. I love her very much!

Thanks for putting on a wonderful Giveaway! I hope I win, but good luck to evveryone!!

I have a special group of ladies that I have met through crafting. They are like sister's to me and are a wonderful support and inspiration. Laura, Cynthia, Tori, and Doreen help make everyday a little more creative and fun.

Thank you for a chance to win such a generous giveaway. Happy scrapping.
