Project Share - 12 x 12 Layout

I was in our local scrapbook store the other day looking at the new papers, and touching them, LOL!  Yes, it is just one of those things, I have to see things in real life to get excited about it!  Pictures are wonderful, but they really aren't a substitute, if you know what I mean!  I'd seen the two new Graphic 45 paper lines, Le Cirque and Curtain Call on line but wasn't sure what I'd do with it. When I saw it in the store, I immediately knew I needed to make a heritage layout for my album.  So here it is:

In addition to the Graphic 45 Le Cirque paper, I used a crocheted doily, some Prima lace, Prima bling. a hand made rosette flower, 3 Recollection flowers and a big black Petaloo flower. I used a skeleton leaf under the rosette, and two black medallions (one has a pearl center) that I got at Michael's.

I am going to re-scan the original picture with my new Epson Artisan 810 printer in the hopes that I can get a scanned copy that is as detailed as the original.  I must say that this scan of my mom and dad's picture is not nearly as good as the original and that is likely due to the very old scanner I used the first time.

Thank you so much for stoping by and visiting with me!

Sharing a Scrapbook Haul

I recently purchased a few things from some very talented ladies I've gotten to know on You Tube.  I thought I'd share the video here. I'll also post some pictures from the video for those of you who have a hard time watching videos!

Here are some of pictures from the video:

First up is Jules, known as Jannaviles on your tube. I bought a number of dieccut shapes. You can find the items she has for sale on her blog, the Jule Box.

Next up is the very talented Bona, known as LiveLoveScrap on You Tube. I bought some of her dress form chipboard forms as well as some papers from the Graphic 45 Curtain Call collection. This dressform shape was created from unique die created for her by Accucut. Bona also sells items on her blog, Keep on Scrappin.

Last, but certainly not least is Sa, known as SaCrafters on You Tube.  I've been watching her video tutorials for quite a while now. She was recently convinced to open a Zibbet store. Her flowers are more amazing in person that they appear on the pictures or the video!

I have a couple more videos that I will upload in the next couple of days.  I hope that you will enjoy my you tube finds!

Have a great day,
