Bonjour Montréal

I've spent the last few days in the Montreal area, where I spent a great deal of my adult life and where my son was born. First impressions are that Quebec City is doing far better than Montreal, but that might just be because you have to go through poorer areas of town to get through the better parts and downtown.

I did stop in a few places like Mont St Hilaire which is as beautiful as ever...



 

Also visited my old Regiment on St Catherine street, where I started my military career as a Private. Ok, why the picture disappeared from my camera, I don't know!


Here is the first house I ever bought, situated a little west of the city.



Since my buddy Arlene also loves scrapbooking, we took a detour home and stopped in a cute little scrapbook store in LaPrairie called Passion Collimagination where I met Miss LeeLou whose blog is in French, but whose talent is international:

Aah life is great, visiting the lovely Scrapbook environments and old haunts, what a wonderful experience to be together again and for you to meet my John, Chris with Karen and Steve, Megs and Ryan, it's not bye, it's till the next visit!
