Hubby sent me that saying via email today. It helped me put things in perspective, so I am thankful he dug it up and sent it to me. That and spending the day with Janie, really lifted my spirits! How true that saying is. As I wind things down here in Florida I am mourning those I am leaving behind as if they had died. Enough already! These are modern times, aren't they? I can drive back, fly back and what's more, my son is down here and we still own a home down here! I am far from done with Florida and I refuse to relinquish the ties that bind me to my friends! Plus, I am a very lucky woman. In addition to the friends I leave behind I have friends where I am going; some old, some new, all precious.
Yes indeed, I am a lucky woman!
(The picture above was taken at the Hilltop Crop in Ruskin, FL last month.)

Ugh, this picture is making me miss home even more. Do you have a set day to head for OH yet?
Love the saying!!!
Looks like everyone had a lot of fun!!
Ohhh...I remember when you took that picture M-C. It makes me so sad to think that there won't be any more Pot Luck Crops at your house. I can't tell you how much I will miss those times with you and with everyone you brought together. And to top it off, Summer had to leave too. I have to start wearing a shirt that says "Beware! If you scrap with me you will eventually move out of state!"
Wonderful saying.
I think you will have lots of new scrapping friends in no time.
We were back in California last week and it made me miss living there even more. Thank goodness for planes and hotels so we can visit.
Good to hear things are moving along. You must be exhausted from all that packing! Take care!
What a great saying...so applicable to many situations...we will see each other soon...I'll be thinking of you as I sail East on Thursday night.
Hugs,
Janie
