In many ways I'm not really a girly girl. For example, getting my hair done at the salon or getting a pedicure or a manicure are not "fun" things for me. So when it's time to color my hair, I've learned to do it myself. It takes a lot less time and I can go for 6-8 months without setting foot in the salon or paying those outrageous prices. Coloring my hair was on yesterday's to do list as were making some cards. First these are hybrids. The portion with text was done digitally and printed out for each of the cards, while the rest is made with traditional scrapbook supplies. You can click on them to see a larger version.
I also completed a number of Christmas cards for the ongoing challenge on RCS.
I also went over to Scraptopia and had a great time talking with Jackie. Made a couple of purchases and spoke of future plans.

Very pretty cards M-C. Mind if I scraplift?
Your cards turned out very cute. I love the idea with the envelope. Looks like you got a lot done.
On the hair coloring. I color my own also. My sister is a beautician so I get the stuff from her. She lives 1 1/2 hours away so it's not worth the gas to drive and get it done. And I'm with you. I hate spending 100.00 to get my hair colored. Especially when I need mine done about every 3 months since I have short hair. I have to pull mine through the cap. So I have to have help from my guys at home. LOL.
Love you cards as always M-C! You have such a knack for putting things together, sure with I had it!
I would love to color my hair but am afraid! Not sure how it would turn out and I don't want to spend the $$$ to pay someone else, but the gray is really creeping in. Daniel tells me I need to pick a color! LOL
These cards are great MC. I love the little envies on the cards. I think I will have to scraplift that idea.
